Jeans Day 2019 at the Cathedral Branch
May 2, 2019
At the Cathedral branch, Raymond James Cares Month began with a fundraiser for the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Jeans Day.
Everyone in the branch sported their finest “Canadian tuxedos” to support a cause that directly helps improve the health and the lives of young people who are cared for by BC Children's Hospital every day. All funds raised go towards conquering childhood diseases, preventing illness and injury, and prioritizing the unique needs of kids in every aspect of their care. Since it began in 1990, Jeans Day has raised more than $21 million for BC’s kids.
Through purchasing Jeans Day buttons, pins or making a donation, Cathedral branch employees raised $1,120.00 and it was a good excuse to break out our jeans on a Thursday. The funds raised will be matched by the Raymond James Canada Foundation bringing the total to $2,240.00!
